    there are large series of barges along the river that hold fish. most were caught on a dropshot or senko, but the best one was on a 1/2oz chatterbait.

    I caught her after being dragged down the creek for a 100' or so. 5# test. she was sitting behind an old tree that was in the water in thick cover.

I want to hone my skills on some different freshwater fish, but I usually fish rivers/smallmouth. I have been working on slower moving water ...more (pond/reservoir) for largemouth more recently. My brother schools usually in his bass boat. Otherwise, I am usually in my yak. Hobie mirage - Outback 12' I want to get my first citation, and my goal is to achieve that in the next year.
