Well today was the day, finally broke my streak of 0-6. Landed a nice 3lb8oz pickerel on the Detroit River, Amherstburg way. Feels nice to finally catch something!

Been out 3 times, zero fish! About ready to hang it up. I'm drift fishing and don't have a trolling motor which everyone on the lake seems to have. Anyone ...more have any good tips?

Drill a bunch of holes in a 5 gallon bucket and toss it out with about 20 feet of rope as a hone made drift sock to slow down your drift. Try trolling the smaller ...more berkley flicker tail shad. I have a lot of luck for about all species on them trolling at a target speed of 1.5mph.
