  7. Hit some gills today dropping next to logs. Had a nice tip up smash, but he dropped it. Ice is a little mushy from the snow but still strong on the inland lakes ...more of metro Detroit. Staying over 4 inches + of ice on every lake I checked this weekend

    3. Christopher Pereira 0
school of nice sized crappie through the ice.... so much fun! unfortunately the only lake we have ice access to right now doesn't have enough structure to hold ...more panfish that we can find... we set up on good areas and have to wait for them to come through in waves.

About

I live in Michigan on the edge of metro Detroit. I grew up on a bass lake called Lakeville lake. I used to ice fish a lot, but nowadays I go ...more up north river fishing and twice a year pier and surf fishing in the Sarasota area of Florida. Mangrove fishing when I have extra money which is never.

Fishing Favorites

  • Species steelhead
  • Waterway river fishing
  • Lure 1/8 ounce little cleos, or custom spinner baits
