I used to always hold my fish like that too I didn't know until I got my own place with my own private pond.. after a hard day of fishing ...more it wasn't uncommon to see multiple dead bass floating over the next few days. After doing some research found that it is very hard on the fish and most ppl don't even know.

When you use their jaw to hold up their entire body weight it usually leaves ...more the bass unable to feed which eventually leads to its death. Watch any bass master tournament and they will always hold the bass straight up and down perpendicular to the ground. Most ppl refer to fisherman that hold bass like this as bass killers FYI

Had to turn in my man card today... I only caught 2 before it got too cold for me then I waited in the car to catch my creel lol

but on the "reel" lol see what I did there? On the real it was 23 degrees and the wind was 17 mph so I hid in the car lol

i see alot of jon boats dropped in but only once in a while I see bass boats and they are usually upper lake

yeah u can put a boat in but the bottom lake is a bit small

well it's a private lake it cost 25 dollars for a permit for the year but I think I was told it will be state owned after january 2019

Ive had that happen as well, with cats, and carp.. big sheephead will take em too.. lmao.. see all kinds of people losing them at the pier... out the pole holer, ...more over the rail and threw the water they go! 😂
