1. No walleye this trip but we caught some bass jiggin for them…. The water was still very clear on the eastern side of the lake, but the weeds off the floor were worse ...more than I can ever remember them over the years. Made for a challenging day. Trolling was nearly impossible, even with shallow divers.

    1. Yeah at eagle anyways. Caught some nice striped bass with it yesterday. Caught some nice walleye with it in Minnesota a few weeks ago. Still one of my favorite lures ...more but they are wise to me on my home lake now.

You mean to tell us that your Berkeley flicker minnow let you down?
    4. No I cannot land them lately. I have to go clear to Minnesota just to catch one lol. I know some people that have but I’ve been striking out. I spent nearly the ...more entire day trying to yesterday. I threw everything in my arsenal at them and nothing.

  4. Smallmouth Bass with a Jig with leech

  5. Did my first Boundary Waters trip and it was awesome. The walleye and small mouth were hitting like crazy. We caught some pike too but no monsters. We ate well this ...more trip and had a blast. Caught this chunk trolling out of the canoe which was no easy chore but fun to pull off.

Walleye with a Cabelas walleye deep diver

    1. Yeah it was pretty awesome. A lot of hard work canoeing all those miles and carrying 75lbs of gear through the ports but it was worth it.

Largemouth Bass with a Red Road runner & chartreuse grub

  9. Killed it this morning. Water temp was 63. Threw back as many as we took home. Did all this in three hours. They were hittin everything. Sometimes three poles at ...more a time. Doesn’t get much better for crappie than this time of year. Great day.

    White Crappie

  10. Caught a double on this one! That was fun to reel in. Some sort of snapper we believe. Correct me if I’m wrong. Either way, fish in the boat!
