Is that your ocean front property? The one in Arizona?
    5. Bruce Fry 0

  8. I wasn’t going to post this fish to save the secret spot, but since it’s already been exposed i might as well share.

5 lb. 9 oz. 20 in. Largemouth Bass

    1. Bruce Fry 0
Hey Rudy, you fishing from the bank nor a kayak?
    2. Bruce Fry 0
      Exactly right.
    3. Rudy Segura 0
Yes! I laugh when people judge me for eating fish out of "that polluted lake". The farm-raised catfish, trout, tilapia, etc. at most restaurants are 100 ...more times more toxic, having spent their lives swimming in their own filth.
    4. Bruce Fry 0
Great suggestion Rudy and I want to personally thank you for your protection of Bass.

I also agree that crappie and catfish are fair game for eating.

I spoke ...more to a Texas Parks and Wildlife rep about water purity at White Rock.

He said they test it regularly and White Rock is consistently at the top of the water quality list throughout the lakes in the Metroplex.

Good luck and I hope to meet you out there soon.

Nice fish, Greg! I have landed several hundred bass at WRL, and every last one was put back alive. Now the crappie and catfish are a different story. The catch ...more and release record for WRL is 21.5", and I think some of your catches could rival that, so don't forget to take a ruler and take good pictures!
    6. Rich Pardy 0
      Nice bass!!
    7. Bruce Fry 0
Yes, we should have signs made saying no stringers allowed. What a gem in the middle of Dallas.
    8. Franchesca L. 0
I agree with you Bruce! Let's keep this spot sacred as catch and release so everyone can have fun. It only take 1 person to ruin it all.
    9. Kenneth Olivo 0
      That's an awesome fish
    10. Bruce Fry 0
Fantastic fish! I just hope that you and Rudy can impress upon other fisherman that these bass should be left in the creek and not a frying pan.

Take some pics ...more like you guys have, measure them, weigh them and then back in the water.

Anyone can get a trophy mount made from the measurements without destroying a huge asset to White Rock Lake.

      Great catch!
