1. 2 lb. 2 oz. 11 in. Largemouth Bass with a rubber worm

  2. This one was angry. These hooks on the floppers are lethal. 6-7Lb? I didn't have a scale.

  3. Looking to take my son fishing in southern Indiana fishing this weekend. Anybody have any suggestions? We are 50% sure we will head to Patoka lake. Is this a good ...more spot for crappie, bass? Raccoon lake, is this a good destination? Lake Monroe. Would anyone have any information on these waterways?

We had a tournament on Patoka this weekend and many went all day without a bite!

Going to check Racoon creek this weekend. Rumor has it Walleye lurk in the rapids
    3. Eric Aldridge 0
Monroe and payola both good bass and cappie lakes. Payola likely warmer due to weather. Check the louisviille report for lake levels vs summer pool

I've heard of waveland, but have never fished it.
    2. william vith 0
No, the wife talked me out of it. We are shooting for 2-3 weeks. I herd from other guys, water was to cold and nobody was catching anything at all. Not even bites. ...more Have you herd waveland lake? How's the action there?

      Any luck last weekend?

3lb crappie, what? That's insane. Bought my son his first ugly stick. Should be great to look @ his face when he gets a whale on. LOL Thanks Stephen..

I've been out the past two weekends. I would try smaller lake. Water may be a little warmer and visibility higher. Monroe has been around 50 - 54 degrees and ...more visibility only a few inches

Thanks Ted, I really appreciate the advice

All three of those lakes are excellent for bass and crappie....about 6 years ago I caught a 3 lb crappie at Patoka.....good luck!

Buddy of mine likes Dogwood lake best for crappie. It's a little east of Patoka.

My family and I camp in Monticello often. I take my son to Norway Dam. I caught my first ever small mouth bass there. My son was having a blast with the strippers.

If you want to catch largemouth I would go to Waveland lake it's just North of Raccoon.
