      Client Davis he barely got in 10 th place second day of fishing third day was top ten and he was first to weigh in his bag n brought in a 17lb13 oz bag to put him ...more in first place n had to watch the rest one by one bring ther bags up couple had 5 fish limit but no one came close to his bag. 300 grand richer !!! Very greatfull winner I'll deff be watching him next year. Also FLW cup will be again in Hot Springs Arkansas

    First time this ever happened to me today went on lake made bout 5 casts and my partner said his rod tip was buzzing he touched the line and said shocked him. I ...more said no way and he said look at your rod tip it's buzzing. I looked at him and his hair was standing up. I said let's book outa here. Freaked us out !!!!

      I wanted to add that there is an app called Storm that gives alerts when lightning or rain is within a certain distance. You get to set the distance you want to ...more be alerted. I think it is in 10 mile increments (10,20, 30). I keep mine on 30 for lightning to give me time to travel back to the ramp. I don't mess around with lightning anymore, once was enough for me. Be careful out there, no fish is worth your life.

      Crazy thing was no lightning I could see around us but could hear thunder in the distance. I have fished in thunderstorms before and never had that happen but trust ...more I will pay more attention now. Thanks guys

      Mike I have been in a boat that was very near a lightning strike. It didn't us directly, or I wouldn't be here to tell about it. We spent some time in the ...more ER and the guy I was fishing with had a lot of repairs to make on his boat. We all remember seeing our reels glowing and felt a buzz right before the strike happened. Bottom line be careful out there and don't take any chances with mother nature.
