Fished two weeks ago and killed the smallies using live shiners. Drifted over a hump that came up to 18' from 35' of water.

  3. Would anyone out there now what breaches/jumps clean out of the water? I fish Candlewood lake and I've seen these fish several times but always just far enough ...more away that I can't identify them. Darker in color and are easily 10lbers. This has happened at all times of the day and at all depths. Any ideas would be helpful? I was thinking trout?

Hey thank you for the spots to fish at Candlewood we had some luck maybe it was our colors or the plane landing in the water lol one day it was line 4:30 before ...more they started biting. Then this morning started right away & then died off. But I REALLY APPRECIATE your advice. We will be headed out of Connecticut tomorrow evening to Massachusetts then to Niagra falls
