Fished two weeks ago and killed the smallies using live shiners. Drifted over a hump that came up to 18' from 35' of water.

  3. Would anyone out there now what breaches/jumps clean out of the water? I fish Candlewood lake and I've seen these fish several times but always just far enough ...more away that I can't identify them. Darker in color and are easily 10lbers. This has happened at all times of the day and at all depths. Any ideas would be helpful? I was thinking trout?

Then this morning started right away & then died off. But I REALLY APPRECIATE your advice. We will be headed out of Connecticut tomorrow evening to Massachusetts then to Niagra falls
