    9. Mark Merlin 0
Thanks, I was wondering why is was bleeding there.
    10. Number 1 killer of a musky is stress. you see blood coming out of its fins or around its eyes you know it's getting stressed.Best to keep them in the water till ...more pic time. At release time just hold it still to revive don't move it back and forth its gills isn't designed that way๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป. Nice catch tho!

      Fun stuff I'm sure Mark.

  3. I've messaged Fishidy twice and emailed them once. No answer. If we want to post I say we use the Fish Angler app.

  4. Is anyone else having problems posting a catch?

    1. Mark Merlin 0
I think Fish Angler is better.
    2. Mark Merlin 0
The error is with the picture. You can only post these messages, nothing with pictures.
    3. Mark Merlin 0
I emailed Fishidy and messaged them on Facebook. No answer yet, but its Sunday.
    4. carl schulze 0
@frank, the apps not bad , gotta watch the fakes and such as any app. you can report the fakes and scammers as well. I've have had this app for quite some time ...more its not bad at all, I think it could be a little bit better than Fishbrain with some updates.
    5. Frank Yamada 0
It may be time to switch to Fishbrain

    5. Mark Merlin 0
Ty, the Muskie was only 13 inches, caught him on Spinnerbait. I launched at Bear Run, and eventually got down by McDaniels. Caught 2 down there, didn't stay ...more long or fish much of it.
    6. Drew H 0
Nice fish, how big was the muskie? Have you fished the McDanels end yet?
    7. Mark Merlin 0
Ty all. Randy, I don't always have fun, but did today. Rob, it was great not fishing in grass and pads.
    8. Rob C 0

  7. A frustrating day. Caught 2 fish, a giant Carp that flipped back in the water as I was taking the hook out of its mouth, and this Bass. I used Senkos, Crankbait, ...more Jigs, Spinnerbait, Chatterbait, Pit Bosses and only one other strike all day. Time to fish another part of the lake.

I had a few bites today, only caught 1 that might've been 13" definitely a tough day on the water.
    2. Rick S 0
      Tough bite conditions today..

    4. Tough summertime bite. Good job overall. I enjoyed your commentary. Glad youโ€™re doing well.
    5. Mark Merlin 0
Last thing, I'm always thankful to be able to go out. Once you've had Cancer, you look at life different. However, I'd trade a 20lb Carp for a 5lb ...more Bass any day ๐Ÿ™‚
    6. Mark Merlin 0
I was going to unhook it and weigh it and take a picture, but I think removing the hook hurt it. I'll say this, I've caught 3 Pike, 3 Stripers, the biggest ...more of those was 8lb 11oz, and now 2 Carp, the first was 13lbs, this had to be at least 20lbs. My Stripers fought well, but these Carp are crazy strong. I weigh 210, my boat loaded is another 100, and it pulled me easy into the grass.
    7. Frank Yamada 0
Would have loved seeing that carp. I bet it put up a good fight.

Frank, I had so much fun today with them. I caught all but one in a small area on Senkos, caught the last one on a Spinnerbait.

  10. This was the biggest of 4. A tough first time at Loyalhanna. I had the pleasure of fishing with Frank today, got to pick his brain about Senko fishing. Caught ...more this on a Yum Dinger.

16.0 in. Largemouth Bass with a Yum Dinger

Thanks. yep that would be to me the lower part. I have seen large bass further up that bank. it is deeper along that bank and directly accross from there it is ...more only 2-4 feet deep. I have caught small ones all along that side of the lake all the way up to the dam in the typical down fall and logs.
    2. Mark Merlin 0
Bruce, I caught it down from the launch in the corner. So, I guess the lower area.
    3. Mark Merlin 0
Chris, sorry I just saw your question. I honestly don't know what the best part is, only fished part of it once. I found the lake to be alot deeper than what ...more I'm used to.
    4. Bruce Parker 0
Did you catch the big one in the lower area or closer to the dam. I fish there often but have not caught a bass bigger then 8". Very nice fish for sure.
    5. Chris Reed 0
i just came from there and we couldn't even get a bite on the Kayak. Where is the best part to fish for bass? and this lake is very shallow.
    6. Mark Merlin 0
      ty Drew
    7. Drew H 0
Haven't been there yet, but hoping to check it out this year. Nice job!
