  2. Used my new Aqua-Vu HDI 7Pro Color to literally select the fish I intended to catch..... Went through over 100 to sort out these eaters.... It’s always best to harvest ...more the smaller ones and leave the trophies for someone else to enjoy!!

1 lb. 8 oz. 11 in. Black Crappie with a Bricker Bug

    1. Buddy Pierce 0

I was given the mico unit to field test years ago. great customer service.
  4. Spent the last two days kind of feeling things out.... Word of caution be very careful if you go north of the last bridge lots of stumps and in the old river channel ...more lots of unpredictable debris that may knock your transducer off and cause you to go to the bass pro shop in Cincinnati to get a new bracket.... We're done exploring now it's time to get serious about putting fish in the boat..... Crappies we've been catching easily early average 9-10 now time for some eyes!

    1. Joshua Krieg 0
      Great. Thanks a ton!
    2. Jake Joseph 0
Just south of the power lines near Quakertown on the east bank is a little cove we caught them on slip bobbers and live bait around the mouth of that cove and then ...more 100 or do yards further south is a bigger cove and we caught them around the submerged wood at the mouth of that cove right where it starts on the south bank
    3. Joshua Krieg 0
So crappies all over? Heading up Tues and trying to get my kids on some. Any general locations on lake you mind sharing? Thank you!
    4. Jake Joseph 0
3-4 cats for every walleye but it was all good to catch
    5. Jake Joseph 0
Crawler harnesses and whistler jigs in the river channel near Egypt hollow..... Hot pink and hot purple whistlers and glow white two hook rigs and two hook orange ...more and black crawfish colored rigs were my best producers
    6. Tyler Gainey 0
were you ever able to get on the walleye good and catch a limit? if so what ended up working best, going back Monday if the weather cooperates.
    7. Jake Joseph 0
Crappies and catfish everywhere Walleye deep and concentrated on the old river channel on the big sand flats
    8. Mckinen Flannery 0
      any luck yet?
    9. Tyler Gainey 0
wow that is crazy its been so tough on the walleye still.
    10. Jake Joseph 0
Eyes have been slow.... Crappies anywhere you want to find them.... Limb lining for catfish has produced good eaters.... water 64-68 depending on where you're ...more at north or south end of the lake
    11. Tyler Gainey 0
Has the bite been better for you? I would assume that it will be getting good around now.

  5. Any recent info anyone is willing to share? Water temp? Depth fish have been hitting? Hot color lately? We will be arriving tomorrow for 6 days, I will update a ...more few times a day anything we find.

    1. Jake Joseph 0
Got on the water about 4PM caught a few crappies but nothing to write home about
    2. Mckinen Flannery 0
any luck yet? we ended up fishing a small farm pond instead
    3. Mckinen Flannery 0
will do. we've caught all of our trout under the bridge closest to the Damm. there is parking lot and a path that makes it very easy access. all we do is ...more drag half a nightcrawler on the bottom and have a medium sized split shot up about 18" from the hook. we us like a number 4 or 6 hook and thread the nightcrawler on just like you would put a bait on a jig head and let the rest of the worm just move with the current. just cast out and let it float down stream and let it sit out there for 5 or 10 minutes before reeling it in and keep repeating that.
    4. Jake Joseph 0
Good to know! We plan to try for the trout at least once or twice.... If you'll share anything you learn it would be most appreciated and I'll be more than ...more happy to do the same
    5. Mckinen Flannery 0
I'll be out there in the morning. we've been killing the rainbow trout in the tail water but this will be our first time on the lake this year

  6. It was a grind for Ambassadors for Christ/Team Uncaged today on Lake Maxincukee! We had bright sun and optimism during the prefish but lower barometric pressure ...more and clouds today..... Put the last two legal fish in the box with only 15 minutes to spare.....We came home 5th which is a great points day for us in the big picture and we took second in a side pot so we fished for free.... A big thank you to our families and sponsors, T-H Marine/Hydrowave, and Bass Lake Bait and Tackle who provide us with great St. Croix Rods and Abu Garcia reels.

    1. Jimbo Harwood 0
Congrats guys!! way to stick it out. 👍

water run off from farm lands
    2. Jimbo Harwood 0
Right on.. then I guess it's hard to say what could have killed the fish.. I know around me, some lakes stay frozen to long then it will kill off the fish.. ...more but I think that's for shallow water lakes and ponds.. could be wrong.. lol
    3. Jake Joseph 0
I doubt it.... It's a reservoir with quite a bit of current and it's pretty far south of what I would call normal southern ice belt.... it probably has some ...more bays that freeze enough to fish but I doubt the entire lake ever locks up
    4. Jimbo Harwood 0
Did this lake freeze at all??

  7. Anyone hear about a fish kill on Brookville!? A buddy of mine is seeing pics of dead fish supposedly from Brookville on Facebook.... Fishidy and YUDU are my only ...more social media..... Can anyone local confirm please?

    1. Neal W 0
Was there Saturday never seen it that muddy and huge waves 20 mph winds
    2. Jake Joseph 0
That's what I think too.... My buddy sent me the pic and I was just curious what the local take was
    3. bryan lucente 0
turbulent water, drastic temp change and low oxygen levels from all the mud stirred up in lake from big storm that rolled through
    4. Jake Joseph 0
The pictures have crappies and white bass in them and show it right along with the high water so I don't think I s the same thing
    5. David Allen 0
All I could find was an article from about two or 3 years ago. It was exactly the same article that was posted. Only killed carp. Now if we can just isolate that ...more virus and use it on the Asian carps.....
    6. Scott S 0
Thank GOD it only killed Carp...
    7. Scott S 0
      BROOKVILLE, Ind. —
State wildlife officials are blaming a virus for killing at least hundreds of fish in an eastern Indiana reservoir this fall.

The Indiana ...more Department of Natural Resources says the koi herpes virus killed perhaps thousands of common carp in Brookville Lake. The sick and dying fish were first reported in mid-September at the lake in Franklin and Union counties.

The agency says KHV affects common carp and koi, which is a carp species often found in ornamental ponds and widespread in the aquaculture industry. Officials say the virus isn't harmful to people.

  8. Ambassadors for Christ/Team Uncaged finished 4th today in the USA Bassin Lake Maxincukee Open despite challenging weather including gusts to 40 MPH and persistent ...more rain. Thank you to all of our families for supporting us and to my YUDU friends for the prayers of safety. We would like to thank our sponsors T-H Marine products, Hydro-wave, and Bass Lake Bait and Tackle also a big thanks to the tournament prize sponsors, Eagle Claw, Quicksilver, and Vicious. It was a great day.... We had five fish in the first hour and spent the rest of the day upgrading to a respectable 5 fish 11.77# limit.... A great day considering the challenges and cold water.
