Pit 24 had a lot of small bass taking crank bait And glimmer shad of Saturday. A few slot fish that had to go back.

Thanks for the info Doyle!! I will get a map and do a little research. You might try some small weighted jigging spoons to try and target those trout on the deep ...more water. You can let them drop deep and then slow retrieve they are usually silver or gold and have a nice wobble the trout like!! Good luck buddy!

Brain not sure if I am posting this right. yes there are boat ramps at most of the pits. You need to get a map from wildlife and it will show them to you. pit 30 ...more you have to have a trout stamp. I have caught a lot of small ones but the shore is almost straight down and I have not figured out how th to find then in deep water.

Doyle I had thought about trying it out down there but never made it. Can you launch a boat on any of those strip pits or are they all walk in fishing areas?
