  5. air temp was 32 degrees. water temp was 41 degrees. i still manged to get a couple dozen 1 to 2 lb bass in the boat. and 3 drum all about this same size.

      yes, unless the ramp freezes over. the upper main lake usually stays open, but can't launch the boat if ramp is frozen over. I fish around the outlet in winter. ...more Largemouth, white bass and wipers stack up there,but so do fishermen. you can fish the outlet from shore, but it is often elbow to elbow with other fishermen.

      Russ, do you fish La Cygne year round? I'd like to fish winter and that's the only place I know of that may produce fish during the cold winter months.
