Nice fish length is good but anorexic for flathead. Never seen one that skinny, he is under 20 for sure I'd say 18 or 19 lbs

  6. Craziest catch ever. Brought this monster all the way to the shore, where there was a steep drop. I did not want to lose it, so i jumped in for it, and just as I ...more did, the line snapped and I pinned the fish in between my legs. I was able to pick it up and land it and boy was it BIG! Many of you have probably never seen this fish, but this is a Bowfin (or a Dogfish), depending on where you are.

    4. Isaac Switzer 0
Yes they are very slippery and will do the gator roll! I have lots of experience catching these, so thankfully i've never been injured by one!
    5. Capt Morris Campbell 0
      You should repost Lori's Bowfin

About

I love fishing for bass, pike, bluegill, and whatever else decides to jump on my hook. I love fishing in creeks and lakes. My favorite lures ...more to use are the very versatile rooster-tail (Mepps) Spinnerbaits, Soft Plastics, Crankbaits, and some times even live bait.
