    Tough morning, rough water. Finally switched to bright colors on spinnerbait, and got a decent largemouth and this smallmouth (correction: spotty!)

    Got in a quick one at Pace Bend before the rain hit. Stop-start fast retrieve, hit it on the fall 8 feet from me. 13" long.

    My youngest caught his first two bass yesterday. We got six little ones the last two weekends on the ultralight shad, early AM. Fun fun!
