Caught all fish in 4 feet of water, clear water, overcast and heavy winds. Was overcast all day, and was raining/ misting for a few hours. Fished for 7.5 hours and ...more caught 9. Bottom was clay-like and had large rocks scattered. Lots of hydrilla. Caught all fish by a fence that was straining water that was washing out of the lake, and also in the shallow grassy back fork of the lake.

  2. Details: Largemouth Bass

Caught these bass on all kinds of baits, couldn't really find a pattern. Caught all fish in 4-8 fow with hydrilla taking half of the water column. Lots of grass ...more carp tailing, had them trick me when they spooked because I thought they were bass for a second. Water was clear but stirred up in spots. Mucky/clay bottom. Caught most fish near the dam. Not much tree structure but a lot of hydrilla.

Caught a total of 10 bass including this one. Caught in a lake similar to a mini lake fork, with rapid drop offs, lightly stained water, and too many stumps to move ...more around in. Also had a little scattered milfoil. Caught all fish in less than 4 fow by burning swim bait over brush, and stumps with a steady retrieve occasionally letting in dive and sit on the bottom. Lost lots of larger fish to snags

Solid 3 lber smacked my bluegill swimbait as i was waking it about an inch under the water and popping it so it would glide to the side. Good water clarity lots ...more of vegitation. mid day, hot, breezy. One of four but only one to hit the swimbait.

  6. Details: Channel Catfish

Caught this huge 12 lb 12 oz catfish on my swimbait. Put up a huge fight 10 min maybe? Set the hook and he literally ran me to the other side of the pond. Muddy ...more water. Lots of catfish around. Hot and sunny slight breeze.

You're breaking it's jaw. Can't eat for at least 7-10 days. Use your other hand under the belly.
    2. ChrisA 0
Next time try to hold the fish so it's jaw is supported and you don't "jaw jack" the fish. We want to keep hogs like this swimming and breeding!
