  7. Don I see u fish musky I usually fish bass but where I've recently moved two I've been hooking a lot of huge musky and can't never get them in before ...more they snap my line what kind of line do u use brand,lb test etc????? any advice would be highly appreciated

    1. Travis Lilienthal 0
thanks a lot mitch and Don I've caught a few the biggest is my profile pic but yesterday I hooked one and got it to the boat it had to be 5 ft long I'm gonna ...more go get that line and leaders asap thanks guys!!!
    2. Mitch Roth 0
If our bass fishing chances are you aren't using a steel leader, when I pike fish I always use one but still end up catching bass anyhow so it shouldn't ...more hinder most lures
    3. Don Varese 0
Most of the guys are using 65 - 100 lb braid. I prefer TUF-LINE XP just because that's what I started with and had no complaints so I never tried anything else. ...more Also, you will need good leaders. I used 100 lb. flourocarbon which is on the lite side but works best with all bait sizes. Just make sure if you detect any nicks in it, replace it. Hope this helps.

  10. I want to come to Michigan and fish for walleye I've never caught one but they gotta be fun and ur making it look to easy on here

    1. Travis Lilienthal 0
I'll just stick to our bass musky n catfish but man its awesome how many big fish bur always posting
    2. Tim Steinmetz 0
For Great Lakes walleye fishing in Michigan, it's mostly Bays and tributaries of Lakes Michigan, Huron, and Erie. Lake Superior also offers limited walleye fishing ...more in some of it's bays, but it is too deep and cold for walleyes in most places.
    3. Tim Steinmetz 0
It's really not that easy. It took me years of getting skunked to figure out how to catch them with any consistency at all. And I still get skunked a lot. They ...more are a very difficult species to predict. The state of Michigan, both the Upper Peninsula (UP) and Lower Peninsula (LP), has great walleye fisheries. In the LP you have Lake Erie, St. Clair, the Detroit River, and Saginaw Bay just to name a few. In the UP there's Little Bay de Noc, Big Bay de Noc, the St. Mary's River, Portage Lake, Lake Gogebic, Indian Lake, etc. Typically the best walleye fishing, at least for big fish, is on the Great Lakes waters.

      Upper Peninsula

      UP?
    6. Jacob Maki 0
The UP has many great walleye fisheries.
