1. Caught three limits of large crappie with my father and grandfather. Also, caught a ton of white bass, yellow stripe, blue gill, and one large perch. Additionally, ...more we caught and released several nice bass in the 2-3 pound range caught on rattle traps and speed craws. Awesome day on the water; fish are shallow and the water is in the 60 degree range; they are in several stages of the spawn. Note the waypoint is not accurate; we were all over the place in possum creek.

I use red eye shad actually, mostly the sexy shad clear, blue and chrome, and chartreuse in dingy water. Blue and chrome did the trick this time because they are ...more on shad in the back of possum.

Not at all, it is usually on the rise toward the first week of april. This usually gets the majority of crawfish out of hibernation making for great fishing. Everything ...more is a little off right now. But they are still out there :)

I caught 13 today but couldn't get anything really big. Water is so low. Is this the norm here?

Well it has actually been tough for me to catch numbers of fish; however the bites I get tend.to be decent ones.
