I think it was about 35'. Best advice I can give is keep at it. This was my fish striper after going after them for 2 years. Cover water and don't stop ...more casting.

Sort of what I figured. I've fished the lake for 2 summers straight and have had very little action. I guess I'll stick to taking my boat in the ocean ...more for striper. Hahahahaha

Trey, I wish I had a good answer. Took me 2 years to catch my first striper. I usually only fish for striper in the spring, but I know people catch them in the ...more fall as well. I've had success with top water, swim baits and live minnows. If you don't have the time to put in, your best chance of success might be to book one of the local guide services. Good luck to you!

Hey Chris - I see you got a nice striper, any suggestions on catching. I'm going to be out on my boat this weekend. Any help would be appreciated

Perhaps :) It's a great all around bait, that will catch anything.

About

Started fishing the lake in 2014. I've been somewhat successful catching walleye but have lots to learn about the lake. Pointers are always ...more welcome!
