    Partly cloudy and hot, water stained with low flows. Best presentation was skipping jigs and soft plastics up under docks. Got in a little kayak fishin yesterday ...more evening with a couple buddies. Nothin crazy to write home about, but we still had a good time. I was the only guy to put any bass to hand with a grand total of 2! Dunlap is just a tough lake to fish with all the boat traffic on weekends.

      Seems like just about every Texas lake shuts down around 8 am with the heat alone so boat traffic must only make things worse

    Haven't posted in a while, too much work, not enough fishing. I managed to get out and catch this keeper and 2 undersized stripers fishing the discharge directly ...more below canyon dam. Casting up into the discharge and stripping fast back across and down current. Loads of fun on the fly! When you hook one they run strait into the current to try to get away! ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzz!!!!
