  8. Breaking in Chris's new boat The Essential. We decided to get revenge after being skunked last trip. our first spot was a dud so I suggested a move. even though ...more we were fishing for walleye, I had to be prepared after getting cut off by many toothy monsters in the past! after commanding chris's new ipilot which we named Hooper, to hold us on the spot my lure comes to a dead stop ticking off the weeds. I set the hook out of instinct and begin battle with this sea monster! after an intense fight chris tries to net it with the walleye net and it goes berserk! breaking the net at the hinge! it dives under the boat and I thought it was over! but I was able to get it back to the bost on my light walleye gear...captain chris hanging over the side grabbed the razor sharp toothed monster with his bare hands but it slapped him with its tail soaking him. 3 times it took to get a good grip and hoisted it into the essential! my very first musky I ever landed after losing close to $100 in musky donated lures!

28 lb. 49.0 in. Muskie with a Spinner Bait

    1. Thanks Jimbo

    2. good stuff. time on the lake, even fighting the wind beats enlarging the crater in the couch where my ass has been placed for weeks for sure. hoping to get out tomorrow ...more night.
    3. Thanks John, Bryan, and Chad. Greg I hate the winds too usually I won't go if the winds are over 10 mph. But my cousin Mike just retired after 27 years serving ...more our country as a detective/police officer. He almost had the corona virus 23 officers in his area tested positive. Thank God he tested negative. He quarantined his self for 3 weeks and planned a fishing trip on one of our local Lakes. But all state parks were closed by our idiot governor. So I invited him our for some Slabbin. He lost 2 but did land a nice pickerel and perch. I apologized for the slow bite. But he said are you kidding me? It's much better than sitting home watching TV. :)
