    Fished off the shore near the lily pads on the vilas park side after work. Only got about 30 mins in before sunset. Used a "blue gill" colored spinner ...more and rapala topwater. No dice

      I could use some shore fishing spots myself! I've tried where the Yahara meets Monona a few times this past month with no luck. Although one time a boat pulled ...more right into the river next to me and caught a real nice large mouth.

      I haven't had a chance to fish their yet. I've just gotten back into fishing. I only had 30 mins last night so I thought I'd try where "catches" ...more have been posted. But I thought the same thing as I was leaving last night. Next time I'll probably try the creek near the Arboretum.

      Have you ever had any luck fishing the creek that runs east of the main lake into Monona? Seems like a lot of structure - rocks, fallen trees, weeds all throughout ...more there. Looking to scout out some new shore fishing spots myself.
