  8. I've taken a few amazing fishing trips this year, but this one was by far the highlight! Two days on Lake Ontario with a couple buddies led to limits of Salmon ...more and Lake Trout. Over 75 lbs of fillets came home with us!

  9. Another relaxing evening out fishing with the dog. This big-headed fella slurped the minnows right up!

3 lb. 18 in. Largemouth Bass with a Drop Shot with Live Minnows

    1. C. Alex Hash 0
No, I let the minnow do all the work for me haha. Sometimes I'll do a bobber line as well, that can be fun, but like you said, lot of non-target catches
    2. Jamie Besaw 0
so you don't work the dropshot like you would from a boat? just let it sit like catfish fishing. I would try a bobber set but I know all I'll catch is pike.
    3. C. Alex Hash 0
You should! Some people think live bait is boring or "cheating," but it's perfect for those nights when you just want to relax. I like to set up a ...more half dozen rods in different positions and sit back with a cold one waiting for one to pop! When the action's hot, you're constantly running back and forth reeling them in left and right!
    4. Jamie Besaw 0
I gotta try some live bait for bass. i don't know why, but I've never done it.
