1. Details: Largemouth Bass

Windy, clear water. Only catch. Probably 2 lbs.

  2. Not much action yet. Catching many schoolie specks under the lights, but not much else. Hopefully will get better and I'll have something to report.

  3. Details: Spotted (Speckled) Trout with a Texas Tackle Factory Double Shad Rig-glo

Two at once on the last night of fishing! Overall, I'd say the trip was a success. The specks bit every night under the lights, caught many schoolies and many ...more keepers and a couple flounder. Over 100 total fish. Released all but the flatfish. Almost all were caught on the H&H Usual Suspects Pintal Jig in Blue Moon color. I highly recommend this lure, which can be found online at Bass Pro Shops.

I'd trade all the fish I caught for that one. It was something special. Good night all and good fishing!

Forgot about this one: jigging through the light, something grabbed my lure and went North at a fast rate of speed. Coming close to the end of my spool, I mistakenly ...more gave a little resistance and SNAP!

  4. Details: Spotted (Speckled) Trout with a Large Suspending Mullet Lure

Very little wind, water clearing up in Copano. Caught this 3lb, 20" speck on the first cast using the Unfair Lures Dinkum Mullet-large matte silver. Didn't ...more really hit but just kind of took it and ran. Largest trout so far this trip. Caught multiple schoolies as well on the H&H Usual Suspects Pintail Jig in Blue Moon color. My arms getting sore from hauling in all these fish!

  5. Details: Gulf Flounder with a Live Piggy Perch

Still as a glass of water. Muddy bay. Live piggy perch at the edge of the pier light, 3 to 4 feet deep. I noticed my line went completely slack so I reeled in and ...more gave it a good hook set and reeled in this beauty. 20" 3lb. 11 oz. Personal best Flounder. May haveto target them tomorrow.

  6. Details: Spotted (Speckled) Trout with a H&H Usual Suspects Pin Tail Jig-Blue Moon Color

Got here in Rockport on Sunday the 13th and have been tearing up the trout under the lights with the Usual Suspects Blue Moon pintail jig by H&H. I have probably ...more caught close to 50 so far and have gone through four of these jigs. Most of the fish have been keeper size but I cpr'd 'em

  7. Details: Black Drum with a Live shrimp freelined

Not a very productive trip to Copano Bay this time around. The weather, though not as bad as some places, generally bit the big one. Caught dozens upon dozens of ...more schoolie specks and this one eater drum. Better luck awaits next time I hope!

  8. Big surprise! Bait had been soaking for hours and bang! Big one took it and fought hard all the way in! Biggest in poundage catch to date.

It looks like they discontinued this one, so grab it if you see it!
  10. Details: Spotted (Speckled) Trout with a Silver suspending mirrolure
