      Nice toad dude!

Hope that helps man! At West Point there is always gonna be fish on the wood on those points. If you just fish points, hit the stuff once & then hit it again ...more on the way back in, should pick up at least one good one. Our best 5 went 16-17lbs. Hittin points.

Spent all day there yesterday and come up short. Needed to see your catch to raise spirit.
    4. Chad Wilkins 0
I caught another 3.5 on a jig, got the 2 confused baitwise.
    5. Chad Wilkins 0
Yes, right beside that laydown behind me. Threw a red crankbait up on the bank, about 5 turns of the handle the rod loaded up. They should be in there good by now.

  6. Cold. Wind blowing. But they are there!!

3 lb. Largemouth with a spinnerbait

    1. Chad Wilkins 0
Yeah, that's cold man! But temps are dropping here fast. They chew pretty good here until water temps drop below 48.
    2. Deleted 0
nice. The water temp up in Wisconsin is already in the 40's so the fish are getting lazy
    3. Chad Wilkins 0
Water temp was 62 degrees. I caught them on a spinnerbait, squarebill crank and a swim jig, so yes. The thing is, they wouldn't touch it unless I bumped the ...more cover with it. They were tight to cover, and when I bumped the cover, they ate it.

What was water temp? They are still hitting the fast stuff?

  9. Those were some incredibly kind words you shared about myself, Kate, and Gary. Thank you so much.
    Tight lines, my friend.

    1. Chad Wilkins 0
You're very welcome my man. In today's world, and especially the high pressure world of professional bass fishing, someone like yourself who not finds but ...more makes time to give back with insight & knowledge really sets yourself apart. Again, you're welcome and thank you!
