  2. Details: Largemouth Bass with a KVD 1.5 Squarebill

    Super windy day on lake Bastrop. Lots of pleasure boats but we found the bass in 8-12 FOW and back in the coves as they were chasing shad. Anything shad color caught ...more a fish! Top water bite was good in the grass along reeds.

    Buddy of mine caught this solid fish. Really wish this lake didn't have a slot! Found the bigger ones in 5-10 FOW and lower water temps around 85 produced. Fish ...more lots of vegetation and flooded timber.

      @Tannerson I abused the square bill and caught dinks all morning long. Flukes and swim baits did it for us! Bass seemed to be pre spawn.

      We caught most of them in 2 to 5 fow in square bills, whacky worms and drop shots.

      I've tried everything at Canyon and not much luck. Lol And yes, Dunlap is pretty awesome. If you think Dunlap is a fun place to fish, you're gonna love Fayette! ...more Great quality and numbers out there.
