    Another walleye caught by my (almost) other half yesterday below the McHenry Dam on the Fox River. Never mind the fat guy in the back round.Not sure WHICH is fatter, ...more me, or the fish. Both were about 22 inches and about 3 1/2 lbs. I also caught one cigar sized walleye, and on undersized bass. ALL were released, as even the larger walleye were within the slot limit between 18 and 24 inches. Glad she had a great day on thew water, and wouldn't have it any other way!

    Hey George. thanks for inviting me to join the Facebook of Fishing! Very cool site. Nice to be able to check put where you have fished, who is fishing there now, ...more and checking into new places. Like the pike you have there man. Think is from the pics you showed me at work. Half Moon Bay, if I remember correctly? Checked out the Lake Wisconsin report, where I have been MANY a time. Right around the corner from Poynette, and The Dells (what a snake pit that spot is). Lake Wisconsin can be great right now, for walleye, crappie, and white bass. Wish I was up there enjoying it! Hope to talk soon man. Gotta get back out, has been almost two weeks or so since last time on the water. Take it easy.

      We stay at Loon Bay Resort in Phillips Wi. Did you ever check it out on line. Let me kow if you ever go up there, I will clue you in on a few things before you go.

I enjoy fishing for recreation, and the pleasure to be able to be in the outdoors. I have been fishing since I could walk, so I am not new to ...more the sport. I fish local lakes, rivers, streams,and up into the Sturgeon Bay area of Wisconsin. I have done quite a bit of fishing at Lake Wisconsin since I was a kid, and that is where I cut my teeth as a fisherman. Camping and fishing go hand in hand for myself and my other half, and we now enjoy the pleasure of living just north of Green Bay, Wisconsin. I'm a pretty lucky dude to share life's next adventure with her...A warm fire, a dry tent, and a cold beer {or an bourbon on the rocks) is about the best day you could ask for, besides catching and releasing some fish. I will fish for anything from Largemouth and Smallmouth bass, Walleye, and the great variety of Panfish found around the region. Good fishing to all, and to all a good fight.
