    Bite has been really hot the last few weeks, bass chasing shad! you could almost throw any lure out there and catch a limit quick! NOT TODAY! Got on the water before ...more day break! A cold front came through last night. The bass were there but not willing to chase buzzbaits, spinnerbaits ,traps, or anything else they had to work for! finally figured out that a black senko rigged wacky was the key!

      No DD today only a bunch of these little dinks, temp was 53 when we launched the boat and dropped 10 degrees and drizzled all morning ,overcast, wind 5-10, better ...more luck next weekend!

    water temp 59, caught five fish like this ,this morning .1 on a crank, 1 on a spinner bait, 1 on a sizmic minnow swimbait, and 2 on a buzz bait

    It was 45 this morning when we got to lake around 6 am , water temp was 59, we saw movement in some vegetation next to the bank, my buddy casted a paddle leg frog ...more to it and this 7.5 pounder followed it half way to the boat before she inhaled it! we each caught 5 bass before i had to leave for church

      me too, i missed like 3 really nice bass this morning off of the docks, they all felt like they were over 5 pounds but i couldnt get a good hookset for some reason
