    Details: Northern Pike with a gold crankbait

    On the last cast of the day I casted into the fast water going over the spillway and this 31in pike nailed my gold crankbait. Half of his jaw was gone.

      Ya even though fish like the gar the mud fish and the pike have sharp teeth and are very mean and territorial I don't think they can take a pikes jaw off like ...more that

      Or he might if been bitten by a snapping turtle @csime because snapping turtle hold there tongue out and wiggle it around like a worm or another fish and the pike ...more most likely thought that was.

    Caught 3 huge spawned out perch and two good red horse. We had to leave early because a big storm can in. The red horse will become cut bait for catfish.

      the perch still look full of eggs. normally they are skinny for a few months after spawning.
