Finally got to go fishing today and caught a decent bass. Ended up with 12 bites but only landed 6. It was a very strange bite today. They wouldn't slam it like ...more usual. Flipped hydrilla with a 3/4oz weight on the outside edge of the grass. Sunny skies in the 80s. Good water clarity. 5-10mph S wind.

Caught my biggest redfish to date tonight with @kaptn_karl and @kbarton_51 put the bait about 200 yards out. Measured 40". Outgoing tide. Trout green water. ...more 5 mph N wind. Also had 2 other runs on the shark rods. Had one pop 65lb and the other had the 400lb wire bit through in a matter of a minute after hookup! Tons of bait in the water

It's break time on fayette right now. Been catching some fish in the trees and got around 10 or so right now. Fishing with @BigChance56. Fishing a ledge from 13ft-28ft. Scattered rocks. Water temp avg. 47-49*. Cloudy skies. Air temp 50*. @kaptn_karl caught a 6lber and that's all we really have to show right now. Hope the bite picks up.

Big baits, big fish. This 6.5lb bass choked the 10XD. She annihilated the bait. Throw into 10ft, bringing the bait out into 27ft of water bouncing it off the bottom ...more and knocking rocks. Caught 3 of 5 hits today. I'm hooked on these crankbaits now.
