Many ppl I know fish lipless cranks and buzz baits either really fast or really slow during winter. Slow if for a hunger bite fast for the reaction bites

Does that pond have bluegill in it? If so, if you really want that hog, catch a decent bluegill, hook 'em behind the dorsal fin or the mouth, and lob cast near ...more cover. If he's there, he won't resist π
