1. Details: Spotted (Speckled) Trout with a Tandem rigs

Got out with @TheREELdeal and got the jon boat out for its maiden voyage and we managed to sling some fish in the boat. We lost some more right at the boat and I ...more had one fish break me off but I'm just happy that we slimed the boat on the first trip.

  2. Details: Spotted (Speckled) Trout with a Down south lures

Didn't expect much of last night with the lack of bait and it being cold. Still managed a decent sized trout though. Instead of working the overhead lights I ...more focused my effort on a drop off from 3-5 Fish were so cold they were dead weight till they broke the surface. I estimated this fish about 16 to 17 inches

  3. Details: Spotted (Speckled) Trout with a Down south lures, cocahoe minnow lures

Caught a few keepers with @spookmasterHQ. We caught a bunch of 13-14 inchers. Fish were hitting more consistently on top early and then moved deeper in the water ...more column.

  8. Caught some trout with majority being dinks and lost some more keepers while slinging them up. Had a bird crash onto my friend's topwater and it seemed to spook ...more all the fish. After 30 min they started feeding again but not as much as they were so we left. Biggest was about 21"

  9. Worked the lures through the lights or just let live shrimp sit under a cork and would catch some trout.

Spotted (Speckled) Trout with a Soft plastics, live shrimp

  10. My spots in clear lake have been affected a lot by the rain that we had this last Monday so decided to hit up another spot on the bay and managed to get a few reds ...more and missed a real nice trout on the surface working a pink corky fatboy. The redfish liked the lure being bounced off the bottom and I had a few other hits that I didn't get connected to. Pro cure shrimp also played a role in my catches

Red (redfish) Drum with a Chickenboy 4 in shrimp

Ya it prefect for winter because of all of the deer water access for the trout. I caught a 25 in last year
    2. tristan delaney 0
I caught a 28in trout about this time last year in clear lake near the kemah channel
    3. tristan delaney 0
No but it is an awesome winter spot. @wyatt06
    4. wyatt06 0
Ya the stained water is always better. Have you fished clear lake lately?
    5. wyatt06 0
      Ya there dirter
    6. tristan delaney 0
For this time of year fish the shorelines in waist deep water with a good muddy bottom with some scattered shell. That is where the big girls will be caught.
    7. tristan delaney 0
I fish them in both @wyatt06 I don't really like to fish clear water but if I can find some slightly stained water I will usually fish it more than clear water.
    8. wyatt06 0
Where do you fish corky's in clear lake? Like in the deep or shallow water.
    9. tristan delaney 0
Ya I know. @drumbrothers I mean I caught some trout in clear lake this last Friday but I'm going to wait a week to fish clear lake because I've got some ...more spots that are producing a lot better right now
    10. drumbrothers 0
