    In Kerrville Tx, hit the banks for an hour or so and caught 4 nice bass.

      Yes, rod and reel is legal, must have a fishing license of course. Have fun and good luck. Years ago I used to catch some big gar and cats in that creek.

      Am I able to use a rod and reel in Cibolo creek. I heard that we can only use a cane poll. I live in Schertz between i35 and 78 by Schertz park on 1518.

      It is in Odessa, I grew up in UC and fished cibolo creek as a kid. That was years ago. I did catch some nice bass in live Oak city park, but loved fishing the Guadalupe ...more and San Marcus river banks for bass.

      Thank you, but I did not catch the bass at Comanche, I caught it in Balmorhea. I did catch my limit of trout in Comanche that day.
