Nice fish man. I haven't been up to Lake Wisconsin in many years, but I spent about 30 weeks of my life there over the course of my life. I've caught more ...more than a few smallmouth there myself, along with many walleye, crappie, and tons of white bass, and my first and only muskie. What a fantastic place to enjoy the outdoors. That's where I learned many of the lessons about fishing and how to be a better human being from my Uncle's Jim and Ray, along with my father. All of them are pushing up daisies at this point, but one year I'll make it back to there to add more memories. Enjoy the New Year and good fishing to you and yours.
  4. Got my cousin Matt on some river Smallies! Nice to actually have some success when you bring someone out- usually bad luck with me hahaha...

  5. Details: 15 in. Walleye with a jig and minnows

  6. First walleye on a jigging rap for me... Awesome battle on the St Croix Eyecon and was able to detect the subtle bite on the erratic drop action in some current. ...more Not sure I’d have felt the hit in that scenario without a good walleye rod hahaha. I don’t walleye fish a ton so this was my best in quite a few years!

      I love those jigging raps!
  7. Fall Smallie feeding frenzy is on. This fish had a big ol’belly. Looked like me after Sunday football snacking hahaha. Typical fall pattern- found Smallies stacked ...more on shallow sunbathed flats adjacent to deep holes with current. Did some working from the “boat office” so look’n good with my headset on oh yeah...
