Then I see the line charing to the surface, he jumped and I knew it was gonna be a scrap..! ...more Took about 10/12 minutes to land. We were both beat. He swam away slow and I waited awhile to cast again..😏 was by myself hard to get a scale in the picture. Fish was a brute thoughπŸ‘ŠβœŠπŸ‘Š.

    My P.B. White sturgeon.. Thing swung down river hard witch is rare from what I've seen. Especially on in outgoing tide. Lost a few good ones recently. So pinned ...more drag and boosted he turned.. Pulled took 20 yards.. Turnt him open the drag and chased the leader 2 land him.. Good times! 🍻happy cinco!!

      If you fish crank or slash baits FAST erratic retrieve Papio have good sight and can haul ass. Don't let them inspect it make em bite it

    Headed out for about an hour. Low mid 70s 10 mph wind. Pulled up 3 fish on crank baits this being the biggest. Not a bad way to spend an hour. Bites becoming more ...more consistent on the Willamette.

    This was the second smallie of the year.. Slow day with no wind and mild temp low 70. Incoming tide with very little current.. Worked the thunder craw brutally slow ...more on a sandy bottom in about 15 feet of water. Only fish of the hour or so on the water.. She was a thick girl..🎣
