About Tarpon

Last ray of dorsal fin is extended into long filament. Only one dorsal fin. Tarpon are silver fish with a gray or greenish back, shading into bright silver on the sides. They have a large, scoop-shaped mouth that points upward. Mouth is toothless, and scales are huge.
