The lake has been cleaner since seasons past. A few years ago a huge cattail bog broke loose on the northern end and swept across the lake (taking docks with it). ...more Some of the bog has been removed, but there are still parts circling the lake. These have been dredging the weed beds that surround the lake, which has made it easier to fish from shore and in the weed beds themselves. It used to be just a thick mat of green.
