Another fatty! I backlashed a little, my fiancé had algae all over her Senko and asked me to clean it so I did, looked at my line and told her I think I got ...more a fish, finished clearing my backlash, line tight, and as soon as I felt her, she chomped it twice and we both said "yeah there's a fish," and BANG! Hookset right through the top of the head. First bigger fish I've caught in front of her.

NEW PB! I'd guess a lil over 5 lbs. second fish I've caught on a jig. Got a lil more confidence in them now.

First time using a jerkbait, guessed on how to retrieve and was correct. Used my old Caenan I had picked up out of repair today and a All Star Dropshot rod I got ...more for Christmas. Won't use the rod for dropshot but it seems like a decent crank bait rod. This girl hit close to the bank probably because it was near rocks and warmer than anywhere else. 🎣🎣🎣

Was confused for the past 2 months on the species until I seen someone else's post on theirs. I know it's a baby but it's a new species!

Caught an absolute PIG after struggling to get a bite allll week. Went down there rigged up with a wacky rig Senko, first cast into the wind, backlash. After pulling ...more it out for 10 min, I am halfway in when I realize there's like 5 wind knots in my line. Cut most my line off throw on the Plopper and about 10 min later, I catch this nice 3-3.5.
