      Wow! First drum that I see at Grapevine lake. I live 8 minutes away from the lake and I prefer drive to another lake because I dont like the variety of species ...more there. Usually is just bass and white bass, and gars and carps to the west. Maybe I'm wrong. The north part of the lake is a little bit better but the south west sucks.

      That is a drum or gaspergoo as my grand pa called them, not a carp.

  5. Caught three. Small tournament on Grapevine lake. Biggest was 4lb, 3.12, and 1.14 on the smallest. Fun day with the son. C rig with creature bait

  7. Two friends and I fished Lake Grapevine on Sunday. It was slow until about 4:30 PM. My friends caught one large crappie, one large bream, and about 5 small white ...more bass. I caught one bass, about 2.5 #s, see pic.

  8. Slow afternoon but my son managed to catch this nice bass.

    2 lb. 11 oz. 17 in. Largemouth Bass with a TRig craw
