    This time of year, local wildlife agencies stock local reservoir that are deep and full of oxygen. Usually in the summer they stay in the deep cold pockets on the ...more bottom but in the winter they move to the middle column or up to the surface searching forinsects or baitfish. In the Southern and Western Highland reservoirs, trolling deep diving crankbaits and reef runners along humps or bluffs ⬇️⬇️⬇️

      Try Kastmasters (1/8oz) with a slow retrieve near the bottom with occasional jerks to produce flash. If you find where the trout are throw some powerbait, nightcrawlers ...more or salmon eggs on a split shot

      Like in the report, try to find any current (stream, springs, fountain) or any deep pools with oxygen. Roostertails (1/6-1/8oz) or Panther Martins will be your best ...more bet. Just a steady retrieve. Also

    Very cold water. Caught this guy ripping a crank bait across a underwater rocky main lake point. Caught March 11 weighted in at 7.5 lbs and 23 inches.

      I think it's a spot but next time bring a small white bucket with you and put it in there for a minute or two, the white color in the bucket really brings out ...more the spots If that's what it is.
