Caught this first cast of the day...bite was really slow from 730am to 2pm caught 5 about this size today. Caught two on squarebill crankbait, two on jerkbait and ...more one on a spinner bait. My guess is that they are hanging in deeper water. Just hard to find the right spots in a kayak lol. It’s supposed to start cooling down so hopefully the bigger fish will be coming up shallow soon!

The black bass population on Tims Ford is composed of largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass. Largemouth are the most abundant of the three and are the target of most anglers on the lake.
