      So there was a time when there was no fence at all around the pump up lake? I remember when that place was a awesome crappie lake. Your average crappie was 10-11in ...more and leaving with a couple of 15s was the norm. Man I miss that place. Wish peco would let us sign a waiver to fish in the pump up lake again

      52 years ago I got the bug for fishing those Harbor boils. Back then there were no flat heads but there were some huge channels and blues. The walleye and bass were ...more non-stop and we couldn’t ever get enough of it. Spent 10 to 12 hour days jerkin’ boils with 25 others doin’ the same. When I saw that horrible fencing they put up my heart was crushed. They ruined everything. It looks like a prison yard now. I’m surprised they let you on the bridge at all now. Nice flat head, they come up the creek and I get them up to 30” at times at dawn or dusk. Some big boys now in the river. We will see 80 lb fish in a couple more years. Well I bugged you enough. Just saw your pic and my old fishin’ hole. Over the rail and into the pail to ya!
