  2. Coldest I’ve ever been on a fishing trip- started with several hours of rain and wind followed by horrible damp weather. Thought I would be too warm with three layers, ...more wrong! We ended with 2 lmb, 16 smb, 3 pickerel, and 1 perch. Several bass in the four pound range.

  8. First day of year with Nitro ZV-21 on lake. Bass trip turned into a pickerel trip- caught six and a number of smallmouth bass. Wind went from 3 mph to 20 mph!

    Chain Pickerel

  9. Fished about six hours, rain and hail for four hours, 20 mph winds with the rain. Caught some small largemouths, smallmouths, and a pickerel. Big smallies didn’t ...more seem to want to bite. Battling leaves on surface, waves, wind didn’t help. Had to find places to hide from weather. Good rain gear is a must! Pulled boat out.

  10. No big ones today averaging 2.5 bass an hour. Posting because I have to pull boat out tomorrow - docks are getting yanked out for winter. Always a sad time of the ...more year. Have fished 55 out of last 60 days. Time to dust off kayak.

260 in. Smallmouth Bass with a Crankbait

    1. Nice Smallie!!! Looks chilly 🥶
