I hear you. It seems like the bite doesn’t shut off until around 45 degrees in the fall, but as the temps rise in the spring the magic number seems to be closer ...more to 60 degrees. I’m hoping to give it another shot in a couple weeks. Good luck!

Steve, I struggle this time of year at Arthur. Sure didnt figure anything out today.. tried some points and fished all the way back into a bay to 2ft of water.. ...more idk.. lol

I went out the day after the cold front. Nice day but no fish. Water 50-52 on the main lake. I'm still trying to figure the early prespawn out on lake Arthur. ...more Do you have more luck fishing the main lake, secondary points, or the bays for the early and late prespawn?
    7. I was wondering when you were gonna start to get out. Nice day for it!!!
    8. Glad you was able to get out Rick👍🏻👍🏻.. Been pretty slow around here still too.

  9. What a sunrise this morning, the pic doesn't do it justice! Caught four little guys, I'm really struggling at finding the bass this fall. Go check out the ...more nice one Mark Merlin caught this morning, cause I didn't catch crap worth posting. LOL. Water temp 71, still a little stained, water level is down a couple inches, but still high for this time of year.

    Largemouth Bass

Nice sky! Hope the fishing picks up Rick. It's been a non typical year. I'm gonna try for hybrids in the morning. I'll post if I get any.
    2. Scott Thomas 0
Caught 1 good one on the deeper side, 20 to 30 feet away from the pads. Another guy was parked for a while in the same spot and caught 4 on Senkos at the same depth. ...more It was Yellow Creek State Park, but the small inlets were like Arthur.
    3. Your so right! The bite has been very tough. I look at it as practice so I don't get discouraged. The fall transition will happen my friend. When the water hits ...more 60 degrees that's when the bass start to school up and follow the shad/bait fish. Best of luck.
    4. Rick S 0
Fixed it Mark ! don't know where that came from
    5. Mark Merlin 0
