    Details: Flathead Catfish

    Personal best flathead and largest fish I have ever caught. Fishing for saugeye, bumping the bait along the bottom when I felt the bait stop in place. Thought I ...more snagged a tree until it started to peel drag. Amazing fight on a light spinning setup and 10lb test braided line.

    Fishing a low, clear pool near where two branches of the river converge this little smallmouth hit bringing the lure over basketball size rocks on a slow roll retrieve.

    Spent the weekend at COSI and the Columbus Zoo with the family so I stopped by the scioto river for 10 minutes. Two other fisherman were fishin tubes not having ...more much luck, I stuck with my top water for 10 minutes and this 19 1/4 inch guy engulfed my Zara puppy and put the cherry on my weekend!
