Small lizard fish that hit my jig. Found him while fishing for flounder by a jetty. Took a quick snap and then tossed him back to go about his business.

Stringer of blues I caught on the boat, we rolled up on a ton of them in a feeding frenzy and as soon as my lure hit the water they would slam it. Ended up with ...more 7 taken home to make some fish tacos.

Blue Crab I caught trying to steal my bait. Every cast out I would feel slight vibrations in my line and end up losing my bait. Assuming it was crabs I set out to ...more stop this thievery. When I felt the taps, I tightened my drag and quickly set my hook straight into the crab and reeled him right in. Needless to say, I'm eating crab tonight.

Details: Blacktip Shark
Caught a handful of juvenile Blacktips today. It's that time of the year again after they finish spawning where you can catch a plethora of these little guys. ...more For their size they actually put up a fight and will hit just about any bait you throw in the water. Catch and release so one day I can catch them again when they are fully grown.

Details: Sea Robin
Accidentally snagged a Sea Robin while reeling in my line today. Hooked him in the side so technically I didn't get skunked haha! He was injured beyond survival ...more so I used him as bait. Crabs cleaned me out all day, but non the less it was a beautiful day on the beach.

Details: Atlantic Stingray
A nice sting ray caught while doing some night fishing on the inlet. He slammed the shrimp and took it straight to the bottom and put up a nice fight for his size. ...more He was safely released to go meet some other rays and have a few beers by the jetty.
