Hey Kyle, did you know that over in central Tennessee, well outside of the mountains, fish and game officials maintain winter trout fisheries ...more in several of that areas waterways ? If central Tennessee creeks and rivers are cool enough to support winter trout stocking,then surely the entire Little Tennessee River from the Georgia state line all the way to lake Fontana, could sustain trout fishing from mid September, right on through about mid April, if not even later.
