      you can catch from the shoreline but a boat or kayak will get you on better fishing

  5. had a great vacation!! sucks to be home. did well fishing and had a great time making memories w family. got my brother in laws on some nice smallmouths. Eric got ...more the biggest smallmouth I've personally seen out of lake george. 4 pounds 5 ounces!!!! hog. he has fished maybe 5 times ever...... that made his trip. I love that place
