Chautauqua Lake Fishing Reports

Recently shared catches and fishing spots

  1. 39 in. Muskellunge with a baker bait

  2. Last day at Chautauqua, and I caught my biggest fish of the week in a short morning session. Bite was slow this morning, but this one crushed my bait. 49 bass ...more in four and half days of fishing. I love this lake for the consistently large and healthy bass. Most of the fishermen are going for walleye or muskies. Skipping docks can get frustrating with the surface chop and strong current, and there is a ton of grass everywhere that mucks up your lures and boat, but the fish are worth it.
