      tough bite finishing on the wrong side of a cold front. Happy to have caught it. Had to deadstick it and it nibbled like a bluegill and had very little fight

With most parts of most rivers blown out and the wind at killer speeds saturday we had very limited options but my buddy had some sweet spots that he was nice enough ...more to share that were not only fishable, but gave us some nice sized recently stocked rainbows as well as this nice holdover (the difference in the fight is unmistakable!)

      this and one other one were all full of piss and vinegar. I thought i had a monster hooked both times, but they were just 14-15" super fired up holdover stocked ...more rainbows from past years! basically a whole different species from the freshly stocked ones.

  7. This fish went ballistic when i hooked it, i was surprised of the fight it had after i saw it's small stature when it jumped! Much prettier fish than Robert's ...more big bass if i do say so myself...
